Books we like: Julia's House for Lost Creatures and Flashlight

Just in time for the changing of seasons- new Little Loft book recommendations:

This story features whimsically drawn goblins, trolls and an adorable crew of creatures. Ben Hatke's book shares a lovely message about solving problems, living with others and asking for what you need. This story could provide a literacy prompt for communicating through making signs or highlight the fun of making chore lists.

Flashlight is a lovely wordless picture book that explores the outdoors when it's dark. Take an evening stroll as the days become shorter and encourage your child to go on a nighttime scavenger hunt (with a flashlight, of course). It's probably time to check those flashlight batteries anyway!
